Click on the links below to see the example itineraries for the November to April tourist season (with one exception - see Historic Sites Holiday for further information). For simplicity, they are set out as a “guided package” but it’s designed to give even independent travellers an idea of what is feasible for your time: ·
Round Tour Holiday – this covers many of Sri Lanka’s “must-see” attractions with approx. 50% of the itinerary in the beach region;
Beach Holiday – this itinerary is centred around the family friendly beach of Mirissa however other beaches such as Bentota, Hikkaduwa, Unawatuna, Weligama, Polhena, Hiriketiya and Tangalle also work well for families and are worth considering; and
Historic Sites Holiday – this itinerary is centred around the historic world heritage sites in the central north of the country with options to meet monkeys and elephants and see rural villages.
These itineraries have been prepared by Pepper as a guide only and you can contact them directly for further information. This is not a sponsored article.
